Quackers

Salty quackers were for dinner last night. 😀

Organized

It’s time I organize my blogs!!! So It’ll go like this:

Juggler’s Blog (Now called Exploring…) will be used to write down what I learned today and I’ll post my schoolwork, reports, and articles there.

Children of God will be used to write my Bible studies!

X Rays

Pasteur explained every discovery he made to his wife to prepare himself when he told his discoveries to the common people. So I’ll do that too.

Today I learned about…

X-Rays!!!

Wilhelm Rontgen  discovered x-rays in 1895 on the 8th of November. He was experimenting a vacuum tube made by the son of a wealthy tailor, William Crookes. He was exploring the electrical ray paths passing from a coil to a vacuum glass tube. That’s when he discovered the x-rays! X-rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation.

Autumn

The PJYPO new song.

Check Children of God for Bible Studies on Job.

Cam High 2+3

2nd day time!!!

Ee Feng Gu Bee Farm

This bee farm was more informative than the Highlands Apiary, but the honey wasn’t as good.

T Cafe (The Lord’s Cafe)

We stayed 3/4 of the day in the hotel because it was raining. When the rain stopped, we went to the T Cafe, now the Lord’s Cafe (YES! The owner is a Christian) because of reviews about their scones and apple pie.  So the sibling and the Dad ordered strawberry scones, mom and I ordered the normal scone set that included homemade strawberry jam and butter, and we ordered 1 slice of apple pie.

The scones were pretty dry, that’s why we had to eat them with the jam, butter, and cream. The scones were really tasty though. The apple pie was great!

The prices were reasonable enough to make us come again… 😀

After the tea, we went back to the hotel.

Day 3

Cactus Point

Admission was free!  It was fun to look at the cacti and the flowers they sold.

Raju’s Hill Strawberry Farm

We came here to see them process jam, unfortunately, they weren’t making jam that day. We bought 2 jars of the less sweet jam which cost us RM13. The jam is great! Even better than Chiver’s.

Big Red Strawberry Farm

We went here for the strawberry desserts. Mom and I ordered the Fried Strawberry Ice-Cream, which was yummy. Crispy on the outside and the ice cream not fully melted inside! The other siblings ordered a Strawberry Sundae. It was creamy and yummy with sweet strawberries according to them. Mom and dad shared Butterhead Juice and Strawberry Juice. The Butterhead juice was great, it had blended Butterhead in it and the blend was mixed with a carbonated drink to make it nicer to drink. The Strawberry juice had REAL strawberry bits in it! Yummm…

Overall all the food had reasonable prices and great tastes!

Boh Tea Factory Tour

The tea factory tour was 15minutes long, quite short, but informative. It explained the basics of tea processing. The tea shop had pretty expensive prices though.

After this we went home. Trips are always short…

Cam High

😀 I went to Cameron Highlands recently. It was a great trip. I got to see bees, strawberries, cacti, flowers, tomatoes, and bees and strawberries again. Details of the trip.

Day 1 in Cam High

Highlands Apiary Farm:Ringlet

We went to the Highlands Apiary Farm which was the first stop. The Farm was not the most educational though. All you could see of the bees were just a hive with half cut-away to reveal the honeycomb, honey, and loads of bees. My sisters somehow convinced my parents to let them pick strawberries there. The strawberries were  okay, and after being put in the refrigerator, they were nicer because they became crunchy! Mom bought a  piece of the honeycomb with lot’s of honey in it. The honey was thick and very soothing to the throat. A piece of honeycomb costs RM28. The honey was so good that Mom bought more on the last day of the trip. 4 RM25 jars of honey with a honeycomb in it. She got 1 jar for free for buying so many. So 1 jar was given to Grandparents on Mom’s side and 1 jar to dad’s side, and Mom kept 3 for herself.

BOH Tea Plantation Viewpoint:Ringlet

CAUTION: Wear sport shoes when going to the viewpoint. No slippers, flip-flops or sandals!!! The viewpoint’s “entrance” are the “stairs” to the left of the factory.

The viewpoint is the top of a hill, where you can see the beautiful tea plantation scenery. The air is fresh up there but the ground is muddy!!! We didn’t get to see the factory because the factory was closed.

Kumar Curry House in Tanah Rata

THe garlic naan is a must try, not only is it good, but it scares away those freaky evil Twilight vampires! Each naan costs RM7+. The Roti canai is good, and according to mom and middle sis, the Teh Tarik is excellent!

We stayed in the Equatorial(Because of the discount :D)  hotel after that due to a sleepy dad and mom. We kiddies played Crazy Old Fish War when they slept. For dinner we had Golden Phoenix Restaurant Steamboat, which was nice.
